I've never heard of that city in upstate NY but then again I don't know much about the eastcoast areas. My grandfather lives in CA and have all of this life pretty much going between Sacramento and San Francisco. He loves it there, but it's too Hollywood for me lol. I'm as southern as it gets. I like the slow pace lifestyle and hate being flashy. But nonetheless, in most parts of Cali it is very beautiful. I haven't been there since a child. The beaches are beautiful and it's pretty diversed in cuisine and scenery. So you're similar to Obama's heritage...part AA and part Irish. That's really nice. Makes me want to be Irish for a week lol talking about all of that drinking and fun times. I like St. Patrick's Day but last St. Patrick's Day was a scene. I ended up losing a mirror on my car (don't ask) but we all had a blast. There are quite a bit of Irish people in New Orleans actually. Up here in CO there are a lot of European immigrants particularly from Russia. I would love my heritage either way, Creole/mulatto or not, but it does have its advantages of being bi/multi. Typically we see all sides to a situation instead of being bias towards one side because we live both or all worlds because of what we're made of. My fiance is Lithuanian so when we have children, this will be very very interesting. There will be many languages spoken, different types of exotic foods made, and not to mention the music. I don't celebrate many holidays, barely any at all lol to be honest but I do acknowledge black history month more than other "special months". It's always interesting to learn about what blacks contributed to America or elsewhere. Growing up we didn't celebrate pagan holidays that's for sure. What part of Cali would you consider moving to?
I would move to southern California. Have you ever been to San Clemente beach in California? it's beautiful there. You're right though we do see both sides of things. When black and white people get in race arguments I usually see both sides point of view. It's very interesting!!! Your husband and you are definitely gonna make one interesting mix lol. Do you speak senegalese? sorry for being so ignorant about it LMAO

Lol it's ok. It's a West African country neighboring other African countries such as Mali and Mauritania if you're familiar with those other countries. I've seen pictures of the beaches there from family and the beaches are amazingly beautiful. A lot of the buildings and places of worship are beautiful as well. I've never been there though but plan on visiting when my passport comes in. I'd like to venture to many different countries around the world. I've visited enough states here and American cities. It's time to go in deep now lol.
Oh okay I hope you get to visit one day

I've never been to that beach before and if I did, I don't remember. I've heard of it I think. Yeah I just sit back and laugh when blacks and whites argue throwing racial slurs at each other because they're funny and I xan agree with both of them half the time lol. Senegalese speak many languages including wolof and french creole. I don't speak any other languages but french creole (la) and french. It's ok lol. We're all ignorant about many things including myself. And he's not my husband just yet lol.
