-- Psalm 105: 23 "Israel also came into Egypt...the land of Ham."

Ham is the progenitor of the black race.

The Jewish historian Josephus stated that Ethiopians descended from Cush the son of Ham. So if the Bible calls Egypt the land of Ham, then why are we supposing that the original inhabitants of Egypt were drastically different from the Cushites who were descedants of Ham through Ham's son Cush the progenitor of the Ehtiopians?

Later identifications

Josephus gives an account of the nation of Cush, son of Ham and grandson of Noah: "For of the four sons of Ham, time has not at all hurt the name of Cush; for the Ethiopians, over whom he reigned, are even at this day, both by themselves and by all men in Asia, called Cushites." (Antiquities of the Jews 1.6).

Egypt the land of Ham the father of Cush who begat the Ethiopians!

It is absurd to try to extrapolate from ancient Hebrew mythology based on oral history, to reality.

Use real historical evidence, genetics, etc. That reveals the truth.

The flood of Noah occurred at the end of the last glacial period. Africans were already in Africa, and had been for a long time. They did not descend from any son of any Mideasterner who survived the flood!

LOL!!! What the hell is this, the Middle Ages? We have SCIENCE now!

Yes, it was told by many peoples, but still it occurred after the last glaciation, at the end of the Pleistocene, meaning about 10-12,000 years ago.

There is no way in HELL the names of people from that long ago can be remembered except in the most vague mythic form.

And in any case, Africans had been in place since LONG before that flood. There was no global food which wiped them out. They were still there. They were not the offspring of any “Ham” son of “Noah”!

Yes, I do know, because what y'all say is IMPOSSIBLE!

Think about these simple facts:

1. modern Africans descend from people known to have lived in Africa 70,000 years ago and longer.

2. the flood myth of “Noah”(and Gilgamesh, etc.) was of Mesopotamian origin, and a great flood there is known from about 10,000 years ago, caused by the melting of ice as the glacial period ended.

3. The myth of Noah was written down after being transmitted orally for many generations, and therefore can be assumed to be largely fantasy, as would be any such myth.

“Ham”!!! LOL!!!

Damn you're dense. Who cares which ethnic group it came from? It is common where the flood occurred!

The point is, that flood was long after African people were in place in Africa, and so they could not descend from a son of Noah!

Stop reading that Koranic nonsense they've brainwashed you with. Here's a helpful household hint: once you've realized that the Kor'an is useless, the pages can be used to line the bottom of your bird cage. It is also useful as kindling to start a nice roaring fire in the fireplace...

Certainly not something of which you should believe a single word...

THE POINT IS that the flood myth was not originally from the hebrews.

No, the point is that that flood occurred only about 10,000 years ago, whereas Africans have been in Africa for tens of millenia... so they could not be the offspring of Ham the son of Noah!

THAT is the point. Gilgamesh, Noah, all of it refers to the same flood. It was triggered by melting ice in western Siberia.

Are you aware that Islam kills brain cells?

the ORIGINAL flood myth did NOT mention the name of NOAH but GILGAMESH.
Ham was the son of NOAH not GILGAMESH who was SUMERIAN.

ANd doesnt the Bible start and mostly take place in Egypt?

haha you have a country today that was created outta ancient hebrew mythology, and justifies its claim to other peoples lands, on the same. but somehow when this same 'mythology' is used to place blacks in the biblical narrative it's 'unreliable'. hmm:)

Little by little, one city after another, one civilization after another, one culture after another whose memories were enshrined only in the Bible, were restored to their proper places in ancient history by the studies of archaeologists .

Contemporary records of biblical events have been unearthed and the uniqueness of the biblical revelation has been emphasized by contrast and comparison to newly discovered religions of ancient peoples. Nowhere has archaeological discovery refuted the Bible as history .

That last statement is the most important. Archaeology has proven that the Bible is accurate history!

Hey dumb azz even if the flood myth came from Sumerians that was still long after the African race was already alive. Dumb azz kneegrow. If the Africans descended from a son of Noah (lol, using religious texts as proof, you truly are a kneegrow) then that means they have only existed for the last 10,000 years which science knows is false. dumb dumb kneegrow. you keep trying to steal the history of another people, and it is pathetic. The Coptic Christians who live in modern day Egypt have the genetic markers of the Ancient Egyptians, and guess what, THEY AREN'T BLACK!!! dumb worthless blacks

You're obviously a dropout.

I never saw a non-avian dinosaur but I'm quite sure they existed.
