I have been thinking about this for some time...

Do you think you helped shaped our behavior?

Such as how we black women perceive ourselves. I am sure you all know what I mean right?

Now, what I want to do is evaluate your answers and get back to you because I want you to "somehow" know how it feels to be a black woman. I mean, I want "you" to know how or why most black women are the way we are today. I cannot speak for all black women but I can tell you how a black woman feels and what we have to put up with; that could be the cause of our behavior.
I want you to see the other side so maybe you will understand

This is a serious topic for me, so please honest answer.

Women are in competition with other women and that shape their attitude about men. When women are in conflict with men it is always about authority.

I think women set the tone. In 2012 men do the asking women do the choosing. Then my logic tells me if women collectively raise their standards in order for men to be chosen their standards would also have to be raised.

I'm a Trinidadian man. I am Black. I am a professional. I am athletic.

Tell us your behavior first :)

That's why no one is really answering, because you didn't define your behavior. Define your behavior and we'll get the ball rolling on this discussion.

To a certain extent yes. To be honest. A lot of Black women have No Game whatsoever. Some of it has to do with not being brought up correctly by poor parenting. The other part is too many thirsty brothas running up on any Black woman with a nice ass.

So you have these Black women with no basic social skills in regard to dealing with men. They only see things in regards to bartering. I have a nice ass. He should give me stuff. Period. There is no understanding of being in a loving relationship or understanding of building a family unit.

Anyone that blames another person for their behavior is a loser. No, black men cannot be to blame. You can pose the same question about black women, to, but as a man, I know that I'm the reason for my behavior, not a woman.

You can say that now. But I suspect that you as well as 99% of teenage males "acted" certain ways to impress a girl. I do feel a lot of boys get caught up acting like a "thug" because some girls are impressed with that behavior.

Some guys grow out of it and some guys keep faking it to they make it. By that time their lives have been pretty much wasted trying to impress hoodrats.

:( I think the answer is of course. How can it not be partially our fault?

Both indirectly and directly.

You can't poke at a bee hive and expect it to not be hostile.
Many men come from a lineage that have stepped on women to get...take back the experiences of manhood that the world denied them.

As a result we have given life to the scorned and wicked versions of what was once a gentle being. But not all of the hostility is because of bm. Some of the bw have been the foot stoles of ww and wm and bw from the past must have resented that. I'm just speaking from one perspective and there will be others but I'd hope we could look at the big picture at the end of this discussion.

Get what you're saying, but those kids still have control over their behavior. Ultimately, it's them, and not the girls, that make the decision to act the way they do. Teenage kids don't have very strong morals and I can see how they are easily misguided. I used to sag my pants and act like an idiot as a teenager, also.

Those kids need better parenting.
