Why many black men prefer white women

I am a black man who now only dates white women. Its not black men who don't appreciate black women but vice versa. When I meet a white woman whether in business or casual encounter, the white women display a very friendly and warm attitude and the great majority of black women I meet of all classes have such mean spirited attitudes and appear to be always angry with a sassy (in your face) demeanor. I'm tired of the hypocrisy, double-standard and black-male bashing by sisters who like to "dog" us out. Also, the sports I like to participate in are usually sports that black women don't participate in ( sky-diving, scuba-diving, sailing, camping, windsurfing, white water rafting, etc.). Whenever I compliment a white woman about her good looks , she thanks me with a pleasant smile and kind appreciation , yet black women roll their eys upward and think I'm trying to "hit" on her no matter how respectfull I comment to her. There are so many black women who have the "attitude" problem that it is such a turn-off and my white male friends agree with me. Many white women I talk to say that they have been told this many times by black men regarding the bad attitudes of black women ( its really a problem ) and many black men are simply "fed up" and look elsewhere. I'm not going to stereotype ALL sisters but the percentage is so high, that black men have simply "thrown in the towel " with black women. I get along better with white women. Many black men say that a white woman gives a black man more recognition than a black woman. I can't speak for all black men, but personally I find that to be true for me. So many black women continue to put black men down and "dis" us and then expect us to show them love and respect. It works both ways. Black women need to learn to practice what they preach and realize that black men are not monolithic and we are going with the woman that makes us the most happy. Its that simple !!!

I feel where your coming from bro. But theyir attitude doesn't just come from nowhere. Many are depressed about stuff:

1). MTV and rap/R&B portrays them as hoes and us as pimps...

2). Many black women have been in traumatic relationships with black men which makes them very bitter...

3). There's some false theory going around that ALL the good black men go for white women.
I don't know how this is true since Barack Obama is clearly with a black wife. None the less, many still think this theory is true.

But at the same time, you're correct. If they're not giving you a chance based on prejudgment, then you have no choice but finding a white girl (or latin girl)

I think instead of looking at race you should look at the character of the woman. To date white women simply because you have dated disrespectful black women may have more to do with the black women's personalities. I don't know of an instance where a person is respectful because they are white or disrespectful because they are black. I think that is a very dangerous train of thought, and is kind of racist in my opinion. I am sure you will find not all white women are open to dating black men, just as you will find not all black women have blatant disrespect for black men. I think its ok to date I/R, but don't make excuses and put the blame on a few negative experiences. It is your choice. Maybe you have bad taste in black women?

If I found a good man who treats me with respect, is attentive, sincere and who possesses the qualities of character that satisfies my MOST IMPORTANT emotional, intellectural, spiritual and physical needs, then I don't care what his race, nationality,or religion is. Meeing our most important needs, not all needs, is the best any of us can expect. If he/she makes you happy and you can really communicate, go for it. If we are continually finding the same problem with the opposite sex, we need to acknowledge to ourselves that we are at least 50% responsible, because we chose them.

I understand and agree totally with you. I am a black girl and I appreciate the way you came. It was respectful and honest. There aren't many formal black women out there much, but to give you some hope, I'm very formal and so s every black women in our family. And we have a HUGE family!!!

I love white girls. Its true, their skin is soft like no other (their necks I like most) which is good to kiss and ravish forever. I admit this with no shame and have heard of many other black men admitting to it too. The ones on here may not want to, thats there problem. White women already know the deal so why keep denying it?

Contain your anger lady. I know it is a tough truth to deal with but it is not a reason to loose your mind and start to talk like a garbage: Keep it feminine or no one will buy into your theory, and I can just feel how vital that subject is for you. So take it easy, there are things way much more important and fulfilling in life than that "being pretty" thing... I know I'm a knock out one myself.

Assuming you're happy then, what's the point of your thread? Trying to insure the black women's happiness too? what an altruistic guy you are. But if that can help you feel less sorry for the black women, know that about 80% of black men have a black woman as a mate. I am sick of you Black men talking about we don't appreciate you, I have dated Black men that are high ranking men in the military, Judges, lawyers and doctors.....they were all liars and cheaters....seems they could not get enough of the cat....yet they don't bring much in the line of their instrument.

You don't have to date Black women and Black women don't have to like that you don't.

You can't say or feel you hate someone and then expect for them to like or respect you.

You are also generalizing, like most of the Topix people.

I personally don't care who you are with. I want every Black man who hates Black women to please move on to other women.

Black women go through the worst kinds of treatment on this planet and we do not need anyone, including our own men, who does not love us.
