In the judgment of the dead the heart, as a metaphor for conscience, is weighed against the feather of truth, to determine the fate of the deceased. The seated Grand Ancestor—Ausar (Osiris)—presides in the Hall of Justice. The jury consists of 42 judges/assessors. Each judge has a specific jurisdiction over a specific sin or fault; each wears a feather of truth on his/her head. The assigned juror/judge will declare his/her acceptance of the deceased following his reading of the 42 negative confessions by declaring Maa-Kheru (True of Voice/Action).

Tehuti, scribe of the neteru (Gods/forces of nature), records the verdict, as Anbu (Anubis) weighs the heart against the feather of truth. The outcome is either:

If the pans are not balanced, this means that this person lived simply as matter. As a result, Amam (Ammit) would eat this heart. Amam is a protean crossbreed. The unperfected soul will be reborn again (reincarnated) in a new physical vehicle (body), in order to provide the soul an opportunity for further development on earth. This cycle of life/death/renewal continues until the soul is perfected, by fulfilling the 42 Negative Confessions, during his life on earth. This if you have not noticed is reincarnation.
If the two pans are perfectly balanced, Ausar/Osiris gives favorable judgment, and gives his final Maa-Kheru (True of Voice). The perfected soul will go through the process of transformation and the subsequent rebirth. The outcome of his/her evaluation will determine which heavenly level (2-6) a person reaches.
By maintaining the conditions of the physical vehicle, the body mummifeid, the soul was able to continue its existence in the unknown world of the Duat. As a result, the soul was eventually capable of working towards its own resurrection, and thence, excluding the necessity of another physical reincarnation. The perfected soul will go through the process of transformation, and as the Egyptian writing describes it, "becomes a star (goes to Heaven) and joins the company of Ra, and sails with him across the sky in his boat of millions of years".

Ba' is the individual personality.'Ka' is the life force and Ra the sun(a star),or what europeans call "God"(our ancestors knew no God outside of self,we understood nature/electromagnetic principles/Neteru/forces of nature).

The Pharaohs,with supreme knowledge understood how to navigate in the Duat(underworld). He/she had to be a king of nature to rule the land.The basic reason for mummifying the body, including the vital organs from the viscera of the "deceased"... was to reconstitute and recall the level of awareness that had been forgotten after the transition of rebirth. The organs have a specific conciousness(as all things do). Mummification was a means to assist the soul in the realization that the transient environment of the underworld, i.e. society was a living death. That in fact when the soul must complete a spiritual transfomation in the underworld , and would be re-born through what we call dying, to become one with the creator for one last time. A self-contained being of light.

All of the tomb furnishings, incantations, and transformations were neccesary to insure this. The Ankh represents the Sun on the Milky Way & ecliptic crossing .
The Ankh crosses are held in cross form represent the two crossings of the ecliptic and the Milky Way. Pharaohs as the living Heru/sun where buried with the flail and Scepter held in the same posture since their soul(sun) would travel to the Golden Gate or "Gate of Gods"(galactic center/milky way) after dead.

The crossing of ecliptic and Milky Way is expressed at the Sagittarius-Scorpio nexus since the scarab beetle occurs inside the Ankh were ophiuchus is at the center. In the pyramids you see the Djed Pillar with the solar disk in between the horns of Taurus. It represents the crossing of the ecliptic and Milky Way near the Gemini-Taurus nexus,known as "the Gate of man" were Orion(osiris)is located on the opposite end of ophiuchus.

That is true. Mummification stops you from reincarnating back into the 3rd dimension/HELL.
