Basically. You just summed up USA History in 7 words.
You forgot "bought African slaves from Africans and then after a horrific civil war in which hundreds of thousands of white people died, freed the slaves and outlawed slavery forever."

There. Fixed it for you.

You're welcome!

But feel free to focus on the negative, live in the past, ignore the black President, the black Supreme Court justice, the black millionaires, lawyers, doctors, teachers, professors, military heroes, and everyone else who lives in the freedom of the present.

Wow, I can't believe you people are still trying to re-tell history. Do you really think I'm going to "thank" a group of people for "freeing" my ancestors ("freeing" meaning releasing them out into the South with no money, food, or access to education or jobs, also while trying not to get killed by racist clown-tard Klan members) when they were the ones who brought them over here in the first place? Keep your bone, clown. No one here would be having this conversation if racism magically disappeared when slavery was abolished.

If focusing on REALITY is focusing on the negative, I suppose that's what I need to do. We can't fix a problem if we keep pretending the problem doesn't exist.

Take as many blue pills as you like.

Won't change the reality of myself and many others.

Slavery in America didnt start along racial lines. Everyone brought or exiled to America were Slaves and servants. America was a banishment for most early settlers. Africans were introduced to America by the Spanish. They were Conquistdos, some commanding regiments in Spains efforts to mine Silver and dominate the wilderness. The Portugese initiated the African Transatlantic Slave Trade. Once it was profitable to crop tabacoo there was a need for labor and servants from europe couldnt produce under the climate in Virginia. Without Africans the southern colonies would have failed as did Roanoke..

It seems that everyone forgets this fact!

" Most of us today think slavery has black skin and African ancestry. The subconscious idea goes that if your skin isn’t black and your ancestry not African you are far from a slave (or the descendant of one for that matter). Wrong! As a natural born White American, unless your family immigrated to America after the 18th century, it could be said that there’s upwards of a fifty percent chance you come from a line of American slaves who were worked long before the first African was even brought to the continent.

While we won’t be talking about distinctions between bondage in Europe and other places, we can say that the New World slavery machine was as terrible and psychologically scarring for Whites as it ever was for Blacks or anyone else who was subjected to it. The only practical distinctions we can really make revolve around the freshness of the scars. "

White slaves, yeah White slaves!

I dont think our post will make a difference here. The history of America has been twisted for a long time and seperated from world events that it is distorted

Outside of the Puritans very few Brits came to America of their free will. The Dutch and Sweds all came looking for silver like the Spanish found. In the North those countries found alternate resources to harvest and trade and profit from. People from England came because the other option was death.

A young black kid asks his mother, "Mama, what is Socialism and what is Racism?"
"Well, Child, Socialism is when white folks work every day so we can get all our benefits, you know... like free cell phones for each family member, rent subsidy, food stamps, EBC, free health care, utility subsidy, and on and on,...you know. That's Socialism."
"But mama, don't the white people get pissed off about that?"

Some of the poorest nations on the planet are mono-ethnic and capitalistic.
You can't blame unemployment on racism, zip code, or lack of education.
If that were the case then explain why illegal immigrants in America are the fastest growing and most upwardly mobile demographic.
Unemployment and poverty are for the most part cultural.
No, I'm not talking about "American Culture". America is not a culture; it's a nation composed of many cultures. We as Americans are "multi-cultural", so to speak.
Mexicans come to America with no job prospects, no education, no friends, and in many cases no english. They live in the same neighborhoods as the lowest income blacks, and yet Mexicans living in America illegally are moving ahead.
How?
They think different.
Capitalism is GLOBAL, and there are no longer any nations completely outsiide the orbit of capitalixm. As capitalism creates poverty and unemployment (moer severe in poorer countries that richer ones) it isn't surprising that tens of millions of whites in Ameeria are impoverished. However, the economy is also racialized. We have what south Africans used to call "racial capitalism." Racims combined with capitalism tends to disproportinately sequester people of color (surtout Blacks and Latinos in USA) to those parts of the economy where the work is dirtier, harder, less secure, and more poorly paid. Hence you find that poverty exists in ALL racial groups regardless of "culture"), but disproportionaely in Black and Brown communities.
Also, the data which I've seen show that their is little difference between Blacks and Browns as far as the general standard of living is concerned. Similar levels of unemployment, children living in poverty, etc. Obviously, it is also a matter of CLASS. Capitalism is a CLASS SYSTEM as was medieval feudal;ism, but a more modern class system. Neither race, color, religion, culture, gender or education secures you from the ravages or at least danger of destitution. And there has beena rapidly growing gulf between haves and have nots in our society. Even the once secure "middle class" is not longer secure, and increasingly no longer middle class.

80 years between The Civil War and WWII economically destroyed Black people and prepetuated poverty in the White Race in Southern States. What was done to Blk Men also eliminated fair opportunity within the white lower class community
Yet there are no programs, no set asides and no excuses allowed for those poor poor whites.

Hmmm, sounds kinda racist.......

They have had hundreds of years of affirmative action programs. Their claim to "racism" is the idea that their affirmative action well is running dry.
