Mixed/Lighter Girls are prettier then dark!

I hate when there are topics like these in the forums because they turn us against eachothe in someway. There are already enough divisions between the black community so why add another. All sisters are beautiful dark and light and no one looks any better than other because of a little skin tone.

Well said, and back in the day didn't they say that lighter toned people (WHICH I AM LIGHT SKINED) but i'm just saying didn't they say that in black society lighter people are prettier because their closer to being white? i heard this before

I think natural beauty is what makes someone pretty. Some women light and dark have to wear so much make up that after they remove it they look like a different person.
Skin tone does not necessarily make someone fine. If color is the only qualification, then explain how Jasmine Guy could go from being so pretty 15 years ago to looking like a wicked witch. Apparently light skin aint working for her.

Probably because she favors more white people. However, Gabrielle will probably still look the same age 20 years from now. Besides that Vanessa's skin is starting to crack. She is around the same age as Janet Jackson, but she looks so much older. I guess it's thin skin.

After reading the comments in this forum,especially the ones coming from the forum creator "mixed girl", I now believe that "Mixed girl" is feeling a bit insecure and she is using the one thing that she believes she can use to salvage what's left of her low confidence.

Mixed Girl what's the matter? Did you lose out to a darker skinned woman? I am sorry boo, but it happens all the time. I hope you get it through your shallow little mind that it takes more than beauty to keep a man hooked. I have a feeling you are not so hot looking yourself or your mad because men are not giving you the top shelf treatment you think you should get. Poor thing. I pity you. Wake up this is not 1925 many of us actually appreciate our African heritage now.
In some black men's eyes a light skin black woman is still not enough for them they'd rather an ugly white woman than any black woman, but that's probably okay for a self-hater like you.
Look at Vanessa, Halle, Beyonce, Juanita Jordan and other light skinned women that are supposedly so pretty. They get dogged just like every one else. None of the redbones I mentioned have had success with marriage except for Beyonce she can't even get camel face to marry her, he'd rather wax that out in $2k a night hotels and hit other women on the side.

Girl your lopsided perspective is played out. Besides fair/white skin beauty is usually short-lived. Get you some wrinkle cream and stop hating.

I agree with alot of what you said like mixed girl trying to feel better about herself by putting others down and the thing about opposites usually attracting one another BUT girl, Will and Jada are about the same complexion, like a caramel color they aren't opposite, well maybe except for the height but they make a lovely couple :-)
