Humans should wear steel-toe workboots, there's zero chance a violent savage is going to go near you. It's like holy water to a vampire or Kryptonite to Superman.
It's kind of a wonderful thing and vindicates my theories every time some savage is gunned down by another one over a pair of shoes, a phone that will be obsolete in 6 months, or a sports-jersey full of holes and blood-spattered.
