Sure he does....how is he expected to survive without all that cash he skims off the foreign and military aid? He might actually be expected to serve his people, instead of himself.....

.....mujahedeen fighters who had battled the Soviets dried up a few years later and Afghanistan then sank into civil war. That was followed by the rise of the Taliban and the Sept. 11 attacks by al-Qaida, which was using.......

The al-Qaida are the Mujahadeen, the fooktard!

I hope he's using "Head & Shoulders", because the Talibans don't like head lices on severed heads.

"Will the stay or will they go?"

We should've left about 8 or 9 years ago. After punishing al-Qai'da and taking down the Taliban, there was no reason for us to be there another day.

I know Obama promised he'd try to 'win' in Afghanistan, but that's just not possible. Never has been. We need to GET OUT.

I agree and if the afghans themselves don't have the appetite to control their own destiny, then screw them and why keep talking about keeping our word....that's just goofy, cause they don't....

Exactly...we can't MAKE them have a modern, tolerant, sectarian Western-style government. Whatever government they do end up with will be THEIR doing, and that's how it should be.

All American and NATO troops can do is die there.

I agree with the Professor. It's time they fight for themselves. We went there to help and they do not want it. They are a punch of back stabbers. They are so use to fighting and killing because they have no loyalty. Bring the soldiers home. vet.

Now that you've brought up the subject of treachery, please look into why your China Daily's English forum are being run by a bunch of low educationed westerners. I myself was kicked out of the forum by the CD's Anglo moderators; for defending the good name of Chairman Mao. Can you believe that?

In truth, I really believe Wen and Hu are the real traitors of your country.
They are deliberately killing millions of your Chinese compatriots with foul toxic air, for reason so daft, the western consumers can enjoy cheap and affordable TV and fridges.
Why are Mainland Chinese so fo0king dumb?

Why would the Afghanis want the American military to remain in their country? I would think the people there would want the American military out right away. I thought that the Pakistanis and the Afghanis hated the American people and their guns.

Our US troops should exit, and this country as well
as other countries, should form their own militarys.
The war is on terroist, and will be for quite some time. No matter what year it is.
This is the only way to have world peace. This is
what all nations should desire. Leave religions and hatred in the outhouse, but have peace in your hearts. Downsize the violence on a daily basis.
Stay on the beat and demand peace. Don't use drugs, or stay drunk and don't use anger to start
a ruckus. Learn to be calm. Do better on a daily basis. Thanks.

certainly, all these global mass murderers war criminals : usa, nato should get out, they are the source of hatred, tragedies, war, genocide, crime against humanity and this war takes so longly, because they stick there so longly and are responsible for majority of all crimes.
