With the deadline for U.S. and Coalition forces to withdraw from Afghanistan approaching, Russia has grown increasingly vocal about its concerns of a destabilization of the region after 2014.

Good idea. Encourage NATO to hold on as long as possible. The longer the occupation the greater the humiliation and defeat. NATO does not have the stomach for a hundreds of years long occupation of Afghanistan. All the Taliban needs to do is wait them out. Just as they defeated the Brits in the 19th century and the Soviets in the 20th. The era of western imperialism is long past.
