Looked @ recent news reports with Karzai throwing the teddy out of the pram de to the absence of talks involving hi delegate vs. the taleban.

Expected 30% probability that the mortar fire came from his guy as a response to his exclusion from the "jabba jabba" table.

As Taleban regard the USA as a convenient "always there" enemy to shoot at... the negotiations will absolutely end in a bloody shootout. Wonder if the USA will actually allow themselves to be a convenient target for the wannabe caliphate this time round.

Karzai is also showing a small amount of intelligence. He know full well that the taleban caliphate will absolutely not tolerate rivalry for the top spot, which means that they will shoot him & all the rest of his family @ earliest opportunity Iran revolutionary style.

I personally am of the opinion that the only good Talib is a dead Talib.
This as a result of their promotion & funding from Talebanistan of the Hijaz madrassa neat the "Long Shoot" traffic junction on the A5 which called itself a "university" immediately prior to the discovery of portrait pictures of Osama Bin Laden on the walls. Nuneaton is still run down and a nest of simmering internecine hatred following the operation of that madrassa & lobbying from the patrons. At least 3 Lashkar-e-(whatever) family owned criminal gangs still operate in N. Coventry & the Nuneaton-Bedworth area many of which offered patronage & step ups + lobbying to Hijaz graduates whil attempting to run down & destroy other university graduates via slander.

Don't even get me started on the slavers & kidnap for ransom which operated as "recruitment consultants & agencies" under the Blairites. The last survivor of that time was a patron financier of the Hijaz and had a crescent in its logo. It had a scheme of "run down" with a day labour agenda for anyone not of Pakistani origin responding to a position of advertised employment.

The bizarre thing over here is that the taleban (see Hijaz) do not shoot people, but it does NOT make them nice, or decent people to do business with.

Have a nice day Ag

The MSM does not report anymore. When will the bodies of the soldiers be returned to their homes and families?

Have seen some more news from that part of the world.

The Taliban appear to have absolutely no concept of change and still regard themselves as a ruling cliphate. They appear to have outlasted their welcome in Qatar.

The bit that bothers me is why the Americans are even thinking of negotiating with them. It may however be a kidnap for ransom scenario (looks like at least 4 Prominent named Talib in Gitmo in that case may "go to the chair" soon when the negotiations inevitably escalate demands).

They are also (& about time too) beginning to outlast their welcome in Pakistan.

Have a nice day: Ag
