Jones called on the United Nations to act against “Muslim-dominated countries,” which he said “must alter the laws that govern their countries to allow for individual freedoms and rights, such as the right to worship, free speech and to move freely without fear of being attacked or killed.”

Here he is preaching about the freedom to worship as you see fit, while burning someone else's book of faith because he doesn't agree with it. How ironic. He was warned and aware that his actions could put others lifes in jeopardy and did it anyway. As far as I'm concerned he should be charged for manslaughter.

Jones is an idiot and his words after the reported slaughter of UN workers is typical of God Cultists. But let's concentrate on the real problem here. We are spending billions of dollars propping up a regime run by a Kleptocrat of the first order who has no interest in seeing his country move out of the stone ages. A true leader would realize that he can not run Afghanistan from Kabul and would stop looting his country and start spreading money to the locals and encouraging them to buy in to a new regime. In exchange for self governance, these tribal area's would be guaranteed free economic and political autonomy provided that they renounce their Al Qaeda ties and loyalty to the Pakistan ISI. The government would send aid (not looted or sold by Karsai) to be used as the locals see fit. It would be the act of an idiot to believe that Afghanistan will join the 21st century. The best we can hope for is that they will meet us somewhere in the 18th. It is best to leave these Xenophobic tribes alone as long as they refuse to aid AQ and it's destructive posturing. It is well past time that we left Afghanistan.

Not much difference between a christian agitator and muslim fanatic....you both the same morons picking a fight..

You both the inebriated drunks at a bar arguing about sports or cars..
You both the morons arguing about who can piss further...

I don't see any difference between black sheep and a white sheep...
They both sheep

It would appear that Christianity is provoking the fire, lame brain. Religion by it's nature is divisive, but using it to intentionally discriminate other religions in America is unconstitutional.

The one at fault is the president of Afghanistan, to publicly condemn it, had he ignored this fool in Florida, nobody there would have heard of it.

Having said that, I wonder about these countries citizens, who go riot over this and kill people at a UN compound. I don't think our country would riot and kill over a Bible burning in a foreign country.

Oh yes, if karzai didn't mention this...no muslim would have possibly heard about this..its all karzais fault...all his..

If bush hadn't blamed saddam for 911...we never wuld have invaded Iraq and death of hundreds of thousands in subsequent years...all bush's fault right?

If there is a presumed cause and effect relationship between the burning of a book and the beheading totally innocent people half way around the world a month later, I suggest that an appropriately proportionate response would be to drop a bomb and turn the entire country of Afghanistan into a sheet of glass?

Go ahead. What do you think the proper response for nuking a population is under your flawed brainless thinking?

"Burning the Quran is an insult to Islam, and those who committed it should be punished," he said.

Flying airplanes into buildings is an insult to humanity, and those who committed it should be punished. I don't see or hear of any help in this matter coming from Islam.

Kind of S U C K S for both of us doesn't it?

That makes about as much sense as charging a child who runs into the street with reckless driving because his/her actions forced one driver to slam on thier brakes which caused a second driver to rear end them.

Jones is a grown man, not a child.

Let say you run into street causing an accidennt. I'm sure you would be charged with jaywalking atleast.....

Now try again with your analogy
