I was there in 2013. I slept right next to the cemetery. In nine months, we took small arms fire a handful of times, but not a single mortar or rocket came at us.

Wanna know why? Because of the cemetery. No one dared risk damaging it, because they knew that their heads would end up on sticks in the middle of town.

So, yes, it's true.
