I hit up the halfpipe at Brighton in Utah the other day and had a nasty wipeout. The biggest problem is that we have no snow this year so everything is way hard packed and icy.
I try to go to sites like http://www.snowfinder.com to see which resorts have the best snow conditions, but when no one has seen snow this year it's only picking between bad and mediocre conditions.
