Cardinals cut TE Pope, S Francisco
TEMPE, Ariz. - Former starting tight end Leonard Pope and four-year Cardinals veteran safety Aaron Francisco were among 21 players cut by the Cardinals to reach the NFL's 53-man limit.

The Cardinals drafted two defensive backs in April - safety Rashad Johnson from Alabama in the third round and cornerback Greg Toler from Saint Paul's College in the fourth.
