i didnt read it,but AR throws many passes away to avoid forcing throws into INT! im sure some of it is the coaches pushing it,but,it better to throw it away and live for another play sometimes.

Or hold the ball and end up 2nd or 3rd and 20. It does depeend on the time in the game or position on the field. But if the punt to live another day does not change the field postion from throwing the ball deep and a maybe INT take the shot some times .And don't worry about QB stats or rating.

The usual trend in a QBs career is to play somewhat recklessly in the beginning. That is a consequence of lacking experience. Throwing into coverage is not the only form of recklessness. It can also be reckless to hold the football too long. I trust that AR will improve over time.

However, it is amazing to me that AR has been holding the ball too long. He has not been getting good protection. Most QBs would start to get the ball out more quickly under increased pressure. I'm not sure why he is doing it. It seems odd though. I can only assume he is unwilling to quit trying to find an open receiver when he does have some time.

I do think the Packers should be using more plays designed to get the ball out sooner. That would help to negate the problems of the poor pass blocking and AR holding the ball too long.

You make a good point. Not every INT is a bad INT. Sometimes a long pass makes sense even if it is picked off. If caught it keeps a drive alive or results in a score. If intercepted, it is equivalent to a nice punt. A QB needs to know when to take chances.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Sagittarius

Moodiness is never far away today, making you over-react to problems and giving you a tendency to take out your feelings on your nearest and dearest. If someone asks you what's really wrong, you'll struggle to explain and may even have to give up because you can't put it into words. It's like an itch that you can't scratch, and you don't know where it stems from or what it means.
