The 49ers just wrapped up seven straight days of practice, the last three of which left their hard-to-please head coach with a warm feeling in his stomach.

The 49ers held practice this morning during their mandatory minicamp. Every player on the 49ers' roster is accounted for.

Friday marked the first day of 49ers minicamp, which of course meant the first day coach Mike Singletary could play down the status of the quarterback competition.

One guy who seems to get lost in the shuffle pretty easily is 49ers cornerback Shawntae Spencer .

Interesting note from NFLInsiders.com. Apparently, Mike Mitchell is only the third player since 2004 to be drafted in the second round after failing to get invited to the NFL scouting combine.
