S Nick Collins stays away, seeking new deal; perhaps WR Donald Driver, too

Nick Collins has taken his unhappiness over his contract to another level. The fifth-year safety, who made his first Pro Bowl last season, has skipped the first two days of the Green Bay Packers' organized team activities.

this will be the 3rd time in 3 or 4 years that DD had his deal reworked,it will be interesting to see what happens.

Kampman wont talk to the press,so id imagine he isnt happy with the new defense heading into his contract year
Collins good rookie year,good last year and nothing inbetween so who knows and they now have Anthony Smith from Pitts so the Packers have leverage,so lets see how it works out the next 6 weeks or so before actual training camp.

Good points pal. I am worried about Driver's and Collins' situation. Kampman will be fine... Is the adjustment that difficult to the new defense? Maybe folks are making too big a deal of the new scheme.

Jon Jansen got released today by the Redskins. Good O-Lineman who couldn't replace Chris Samuels on the Redskins line. Maybe? He would not come expensive and his a mid-western (Michigan) product...

Just wondering.....

The focus TT has on signing "our" players that I have heard so much about, better start showing some results soon. Missing OTAs is one thing. Missing practices will be another.
