Dolphins Report 14 Injuries Prior To Week 2 Showdown With Bills
With dreams of a perfect 2-0 start, the Miami Dolphins will have a mountain of injuries to overcome as they prepare to take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 2 of the 2014 NFL campaign. Last week, the Fins came away with an improbable win over the New England Patriots, despite the fact that the team reported 13 injured players in their opening IR.
Just a Tadd: Patriots an Adrian Peterson away from 0-2 hole
If the Week 1 gashing of the Patriots' defense at the hands of the Dolphins' rushing attack is any indication, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is about to go all 2007 Chargers on 'em in Week 2. That wasn't your typical Bill Belichick defense on the field in Miami - the one that allowed 191 yards and 11 first downs on the ground. And Knowshon Moreno and Lamar Miller, who averaged 5.6 and 5.4 yards per carry respectively against New England, are not Peterson.

Dolphins' Shelley Smith shows impressive footwork as pulling guard
DAVIE When Dolphins running back Knowshon Moreno was chewing up ground en route to his 134-yard performance Sunday against New England it wasn't unusual to see right guard Shelley Smith serving as the lead blocker. Smith, who showed impressive muscle when blocking Vince Wilfork , the Patriot's Pro Bowl defensive tackle, was even more impressive displaying his nimble feet and agility when he was running in front of Moreno as a pulling guard.

Scouting the Dolphins: Five questions about Patriots' first opponent
The games are finally real this Sunday as the Patriots head to Miami to take on the Dolphins in the regular-season opener. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is only 6-6 all-time in Miami, and the Dolphins won the last matchup there, a 24-20 thriller in December.

Patriots v Dolphins Preview
The New England Patriots start their quest for a return to the Super Bowl and a sixth straight AFC East title with a trip to closest divisional rivals Miami Dolphins in the first live Sky Sports Sunday game of the season. The Pats came within one late Peyton Manning drive of making the Super Bowl last year in their third straight appearance in the AFC Championship game, and they're a short price to make it back there with themselves and Denver the big fancies in the conference.
