Full story: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Anybody who thinks that the only place Aaron Rodgers can go is up in his second season as quarterback of the Green Bay Packers is forgetting about the man who used to have that job.

Aaron Rodgers is not immune to the "sophomore jinx" under the best of circumstances. The fact that the Packers will have multiple new starters playing on the offensive line is not the best of circumstances. Last year, Aaron responded to the pressure very well. However, it equated to few wins. This year, he is under pressure to carry a young team with a new, inexperienced line. I hope that he isn't ruined under the pressure of increased expectations.

This could be true, but is the proverbial "half-empty" approach. I prefer to think he will be a better player with that year under his belt. People need to remember that this is a very talented player who had the luxury of watching Favre for three years, so this not a guy in his 2nd year in many respects. Sure he could take a step back, but a more probable outcome has him as a top five QB in the league. Granted the line could be in a state of flux, but no team has the depth and skill that we have at WR. I really don't see the line being any worse than last year's performance.

Last year will not be enough for most, especially without more wins. Fair or not, QBs get more blame (and credit) than they deserve.
