I can hear the critics now; another past his prime player-no way! But why not given the right price; with Farve[assuming] he could be a great possession reciever 2 move the chains and give AP a nother chance of breaking one, certainly Favre could get the ball 2 him if he needed 2. Experience, locker room leader and another future hall of famer-why not!

We are going from a fairly young team to the Metrodome retirement home. On the bright side, my helicopter maneuvers can come in handy for any Life Alert emergencies.

Please install plenty of wheel chair access to the playing field. Me and Marvin will need it.

sad but i feel the same way - i have no confidence in the other qbs. Might as well put booty in there and let him develop. He wont do any worse than jackson or rosenfluke

Harrison is WELL past his prime. The Colts tried to use him as a possession receiver. We all saw how that worked out last year. He still runs great routes, but he's lost a couple of steps, and drops a lot of balls.

.

Why? Because Harrison has never been a "locker room leader". He doesn't talk or socialize with the other players. He offers no advice to other players, and, during games, he doesn't even sit with the rest of the team. The only player he interacts with, at all, is the guy throwing him the ball. He won't be much help to any of the young players.

No diubt hes lost a couple steps but u can't tell me that he lost his hands 2. With BF slinging the ball 2 him on short precise routes on say 3rd and 6 or 7 u can't tell me that that is not a dangerous possession tandem.

To Marvin Harrison,

Whay ever you do, drag out actually signig with this team like I am. It makes the locker room angry at you.

Signed,

And then ask for your own wheel chair access ramp to the field. I will not share mine.

If you don't believe me all you have to do is look at his numbers from last year. I live in Indy and I attended or watched most of their games.

1. Harrison is much slower, and was routinely run down by CBs and safeties. This was true even on short routes.

2. Ever since the LAST injury to his knee he has had a case of the dropsies. Don't know why, or, even if it's related, but it's a fact.

3. Harrison has had several operations performed on his knees now. He will also be 37 by the start of the season.

Harrison can't get open on those quick 6 or 7 yard patterns anymore. Favre is no more effective than Manning on those short, quick passes, and Manning couldn't get them to work when throwing to Harrison. What makes you think Farve will?

You know Bill Polian's reputation as a GM and talent scout for the Colts. Do you REALLY believe he would have let Harrison go if he was still a dangerous receiver? C'mon....

This would be a great move. We'd have Berrian, Rice, Wade, Harvin, Harrison & Shiancoe as targets for Favre!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Leo

If there have been slight tensions or frictions between you and a loved one recently, this is the perfect day to get them out into the open, thrash them out and then forget about them. Things could get quite heated in the process but don't worry because they'll work out all right in the end. Put as much energy into kissing and making up as you did in arguing!
