Can't Stop The Bleeding

A Puppy Is Not Just For Xmas. Or For Jeff Reed Impersonations.

Watching Big Ben spend most of Sunday afternoon flat on his back, covered in red jerseys is the sort of thing that would send even the most mild-mannered of Steelers fans into a frenzy.

Polamalu's injury not considered serious

Troy Polamalu almost certainly won't play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Steelers probably couldn't have gotten much better news on the knee that the All-Pro safety re-injured earlier this week.

On the Steelers: Changes made on special teams

The Steelers put linebacker Arnold Harrison on waivers. At least one head rolled because of the inability of the Steelers' kickoff team to make a tackle in the past four games, and coach Mike Tomlin even fired a zinger at his own return specialist as he tries to correct a problem that may have cost them the AFC North Division title.

Steelers' Polamalu to miss one game, maybe more

Troy Polamalu reinjured his left knee in the first quarter Sunday. The Steelers' defense that played without Troy Polamalu for all but one series Sunday likely will have to do it again without him for one game, two, maybe three.
