The Media Drought, The Oakland Raiders, and Three Football Players

I wouldn't mind seeing the season extend to 20 games. Have camp in July. 2 preseason games at the end and then start the season about mid August.

if they go to 20 games they will need to add more players to the roster and cut down on preseason....its a helluva grind for those players....I would like more games too....

Yeah if they did that, I think they'd have to up the roster limit to 60 plus 10 on the practice squad

it's understandable why we have sixteen games. and one or two more games won't hurt. what hurts is the waiting part until the season starts again. you see, we needed those two extra games to have cable connect with his guys better. and really be ready for 2009 season. the guys that ae winning want the season to end. the guys that are losing "us" want just a couple more games to feel good about next year. just as we were on a role our season was cut short! damn! but, it is what it is. maybe kiffin should have been fired before anything!

Longer season would be better. I mean look how long the season is in other sports especially baseball and nascar; they're practically year round.

(lol) yeah but these guys motors don't run that long in the year before they break down. they would have to double up on players. in that case russell and garcia would have a chance to be the starter for each half of the season and each would have a chance to go to the superbowl! hey, don't we have that already?
