I just don't think he inherited a very good football team, which is a result of the two previous coaching regimes.

Interesting observation. Maybe some of you know it alls should take note.

Hey James. I was at Liberty when you played and will never forget about a 70 yd. touchdown where you burned the defense and ran down and fell backwards into the end zone! It was awesome!

Maybe you can make a comeback and help out the Phins!

Marco, it's hard for the Jet fans to say much as they suck just as bad as us. I sure would like to win one game this year and that would be against them!

He was a little loyal about Wannstedt,, he was the main culprit in the Fins mess. I wanted him fired after 3rd year when we lost to pats in finale.. Also 2 Bears fans warned me 6 years ago this would happen to the Fins.,, If i knew this why didnt Huizenga,, Who gives him advice??

Because Huizenga loved Jimmy so much that if Jimmy had told him to eat a s**t sandwich, Wayned would've eaten it. Jimmy told him to hire Wannstedt. Wayne did, same result.

Wannstedt was a horrible head coach! I saw how he destroyed the Bears and then when Jimmy, who I curse everyday, because he is responsible for bringing him to south Florida, hired him, I knew what he was trying to do! Give his friend another chance at being a head coach. The rest is history! Look at where we're at. He's now destroying Pittsburgh!

Jimmy told him to hire Saban too. I knew it the second we hired Wannstache that we'd go downhill. You grade a coach on what he's able to do with a bad football team. We all know what he did with Chicago.

Yes, James, please explain how you single-handedly lost that Ravens playoff game.

Did you wet yourself because you had to play against the murderer Ray Lewis?

okay, i'm just going to make this post on every forum in which I see someone question whether Cam calling plays dilutes his effectiveness as a head coach. Bill Walsh called all his own plays, and said that the day he needed an OC he would know it was time to call it quits. And while Cam is no Walsh, the precedent is there. Know your history before wasting Mcknight's or anyone elses time with stupid questions.

James McKnight,

What can you say about our Dolphins special teams? They've allowed 2 kick returns for touchdowns and haven't run any back in...forever. On the outside, we fans think its poor couching. What say you? The stinking jets always seem to lead the NFL in special teams.

OJ is one of my alltime favorite Fins. I'll take him on my team anyday...player, coach or president...it don't matter. If this team had more players like him, we'd be a much better team.

Does anyone else think the Hall of Fame has been diluted over the years, and it's not nearly as much of an honor as it once was? I love Zach...but HOF...is he one of the greatest LBs ever? But, in this day-and-age, he deserves it as much as many other players who've gone in over the past decade. Jason....hmmm...i just don't think so.

You Jets fans have had it hard....and I'm glad! You guys always suck! Look at your uniforms! Look at your sorry ass players! Yes, you've been lucky the past few years against us, but I guarantee this, starting next year, you won't win against us again because your team will always suck and your fans have no class and suck! We've always been in the playoffs. How many times have you guys been in the playoffs or how many superbowls have the Jets been to? Think about that for a while!!! ha! ha! ha!

Contrary to Mr. McKnight, I disagree with his assessment of Hagan/Ginn combination. Walker/Chambers was a group of slow receivers with questionable hands (at least Chambers was). At the very least, we can stretch the field now. Ginn made a great catch this weekend that gives me hope for our WR future. Perhaps McKnight wants to keep the receiving corps as is so people can keep talking about the "way things were" at the wide receiver position. From now on, your not allowed to assess the WR postition because your bias. I agree with everything else you said. And yes, you were a great receiver.
