Broncos' offense purge continues with RB Young
There goes half the team. Half of the 2008 opening-day starters, anyway. A herniated disc ended the brief, if surprisingly productive, stay in Denver for running back Selvin Young, who was waived Thursday by the Broncos.
The national football pundits think the Broncos were crazy to draft cornerback Alphonso Smith after signing several veteran defensive-backs in free agency.
