BGA: Winters falls again

One week after what was probably his best game as a pro, Brian Winters had a nightmare performance at left guard, one which arguably rivalled any of his games from last season in terms of his ineffectiveness. Winters clearly made several mistakes in pass protection, leading to Geno Smith being sacked once and nailed a couple of other times.

Packers linebackers Jamari Lattimore and Sam Barrington need to step up

If there's one player Green Bay Packers fans have come to dislike in the last week, it's probably Brad Jones . Jones didn't have the greatest outing last Thursday, giving up three missed tackles as well as re-injuring the quadriceps that he tweaked back in training camp.

Packers' defense will see options again

If the Green Bay Packers defense didn't experience a flashback eight days ago, it's only because their heads were spinning too fast to realize it. It was a repeat of the same failures they've had defending mobile quarterbacks and the read-option offense dating to the playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers in 2013.

Why Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Is the Packers X-Factor in Week 2

The ranking on offense is sort of an anomaly. Why? Green Bay has normally been very efficient and effective on offense under head coach Mike McCarthy, as the team has been in the top 10 offensively for seven of the eight years McCarthy has been a head coach.
