Over the past few years, the Bengals' offense has had the image of holding the team back and having some glaring holes.

The Bengals announced they released three players, which, including the team's 10 draft picks, gets them back to 90 players on the roster.

Last year the Bengals used a full back on only 17 percent of the teams snaps, including Orson Charles and Gresham in the back field.

With Andre Smith back in the fold, the current roster count stands at 71. With 10 draft picks and a handful of UDFAs likely to join, the team will soon be at its 90-man offseason limit.
