Texans activate Reed, reach 53-man limit
The Houston Texans activated veteran safety Ed Reed off the physically unable to perform list Saturday and placed three rookies on injured reserve en route to getting down to the NFL's 53-man roster limit.
Texans continue to trim roster, seven more cuts to make
The Texans placed 15 players on waivers today, reducing their roster to 60. They have to make seven more moves today to get down to the required 53. In 2012, the Houston Texans ' linebacker corps was decimated by injury. Hopefully, the Texans will be among the healthier corps in the NFL , but the injury bug has already bit two Texans' linebackers - and we haven't even made it out of the preseason yet.
