Patriots' Tom Brady Passes Elway for 3rd Place on All-Time QB Wins List

In a game that didn't require much of him, Brady completed 15 of his 22 pass attempts for 149 yards and a touchdown, providing an efficient performance while letting the New England defense do most of the heavy lifting in a blowout of the Vikings. Brady's 149th win leaves him trailing only Brett Favre and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning for the most victories in NFL history.

Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera had a change of heart Sunday, benching defensive end Greg Hardy before the team's 24-7 win against the Detroit Lions. Rivera defended his late decision to make Hardy inactive by saying the "climate has changed" in the NFL and the team "has to get this right."

Tickets for Sunday's Vikings/Patriots home opener are the priciest since 2009

You'll have to reach deep into your pockets to get into TCF Bank Stadium and watch the Minnesota Vikings take on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Sunday's home opener. Tickets for the sold-out game are selling on the secondary market for an average of $159 each, according to Seat Geek, a New York-based search engine that monitors ticket listings from major secondary ticket websites like That makes the home opener the team's most expensive by far since 2009, when Brett Favre joined the Vikings.
