5 keys to preventing a 49ers' upset

Full story: St. Paul Pioneer Press

Now they need to prove it. The 49ers' Allen Rossum popped a 104-yard kickoff return touchdown last season, and he's got eight return touchdowns for his career.

Actually.... the 49ers have the superior special teams. Andy Lee is the best punter in the league not named Shane Lechler and Joe Nedney is one of the most accurate kickers. Maybe you should do your homework before writing such dribble.

i think the 49ers are a better team than us. they should beat us pretty easily , their defense and special teams are better and their offense isnt one dimensional. we've beaten 2 terrible teams and the 49ers are a solid team. once we play good teams we'll be exposed for what we are. and so will old man favre.

Last 3 years Gore has rushed for over 1000 yd/season with 1700yds in 2006. He's no AP, but he is still above average.

All I ever hear is how great Henderson is and how lucky we are to have him back. Disagree. We seem to be better run-stoppers without him, and if any of you watched NFL Access with film versus Detroit showing how out of position he plays, you might revise your opinion. Great linebackers have a nose for the ball and geting into the backfield - Willis, Urlacher, Barnett, Hawk. Henderson is a solid cut hbehind these guys, sorry. We need a disruptive, ball-hawking, Singletary-like smasher in the middle who doesn't allow rbs to get into the secondary. We don't have that in Henderson.

As long as Brad Childress is coach, the Vikes are NOT legitimate contenders!!!! His stupid "keep it close til the fourth quarter" philosophy will bury the Vikes along with his "bend but don't break" defensive philosophy.....Vikes will finish 10-6 and lose in first round! I don't care if they had five Adrian Petersons!!!
