I lived in south pas and san marino before i moved back east, and I have relatives still in San Gabriel, Arcadia, Whittier and Rancho cucamonga, so I am in the SGV several times a year. South Gate, Diamond Bar, San Gabriel, Whittier, Montebello, Rosemead, Alhambra, Highland Park, Monrovia, Rancho Cucamonga, Duarte, Azusa, how's that for moving around?

Arcadia was nice, but has been swallowed whole by the yellow menace, and now boasts the highest teenage drug arrest rate in the valley. Thanks for asking, by the way. I made a few calls to some heavy hitters in the yellow menace community. They're interested in some real estate development opportunties in Waterbury, CT. I'll have them contact you. They're super nice. Menacing, but nice.

Then you'd drive west to Bob's and turn around to go to the Zody's parking lot to hang out. and do it all over again. Til city councilman Mike Rubino tried to put a stop to it That was Cruisin' Valley Blvd. before the 1974 Oil Crisis.

Ah yes, Pup 'n Taco at Valley and Chapel. And the Red Devil Pizza further east on Valley. And the Zody's. And Crawford's Corner. The Arby's is still there on Main, and we'll drive all the way over to get it once or twice a year. Old school Alhambrans...
