Creeps burn fencing around Staten Island's new protective dunes, Parks Department says

Less than a week after the city installed fencing around protective sand dunes to keep ATV-riding teenagers off them, as much as 70 feet of the fencing was destroyed and burned in a bonfire on the beach, the Parks Department said.
