Anchor Lou Dobbs says he's leaving CNN immediately 'to pursue new opportunities'

Leaving the company after 30 years must be tough...wish you luck.

He is the only reason to watch CNN. I began to see this last summer when they started grooming Kitty Pilgrim. I told my wife , he does not fit the CNN role anymore because of his conseravtive views. I can lock out the CNN channel. I wonder if he will go to FOX NEWS. Beck went over and haas made it big with over 3 million viewers. Greta Van Sustren was at CNN and she haas made it big on FOX NEWS. I hope he does go to FOX since I like his perspective on the news and finance.Maybe he will start a third party since he has been advocating that for a long time.

The move will save me $20 on my Dish Bill since I only carried the higher tier so I'd have CNN and see his show. Bye bye CNN...

Not a total surprise. He was the reason I turned on CNN. Will not bother anymore. On occasion, I would watch Larry King, but he is no longer able to pose any relevent questions to his guest. FOX should grab Lou.....then, their strangle hold on the ratings will squeeze out the rest of the do nothings on CNN.

I'm contacting CNN to tell them how I will miss Lou and that I won't be watching CNN any longer and have removed it as my Home Page. I enjoyed more cooking channels anyway. I'll catch up to Lou when he gets situated elsewhere.

CNN’s viewership of 6.114 million puts it behind NBC (7.72 million) but ahead of ABC and CBS for the 10-11pm hour.

After La Raza of the ACORN zombies fired shots at Dobb's wife outside their home, he had to leave CNN.
It's not like the Pelosi administration cares about law and order and more than they value our citizenship.

I listen to Boston's Howie Carr everyday. His producer Sandy, who is also his legal assistant saaid that she thought he sounded like he was running for office. Sandy has a pretty good track record predicting different things on the program. I have been think and maybe she is on to something. I no longer have to click on CNN since Lou is gone. John King grew up in a Boston and I dont think he can take the daily grind of a show. CNN was 5th in the viewership on Lou's last night. Is there any channels between that and last?

You left out O'Reilly. Thur Nov. 5, O'Reilly had 5 million viewers. If FOX NEWS put on an evening news in the 6PM slot it would be bye-bye to the the three lame stearm news shows. Kiran left FOX NEWS because she wanted too much money and they were unwilling to pay her price. She was out of work for awhile and I would think that she did not get as much as she was offered at FOX NEWS.
