Rosie Says Rev. Wright Made Sense: She defends pastor's beliefs during 'Today' appearance.

*While sitting in with the ladies of the "Today" show's fourth hour Monday, Rosie O'Donnell said many people have mistaken her "passion for rage" – much in the same way some Americans have misunderstood Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Rosie O'Donnell is so ugly that if she stuck her fat head out the window she could get arrested for mooning.

I still don't know why America is trying to make a big deal out of what REv. Wright said?

Truthfully white America has said far worst and still doing it and nothing has ever been done about it? So why all the hoopla?

Also whomever tried to disrupt the process of elimination by citing untruth to the media they should be held accountable as well you know who you are! And make NO mistake GOD sees you!!!

Puh-leeze. I have seen far, far worse. She does not attract me, but if she were hetero, I'd classify her as do-able.

After a couple of stiff Gin & Tonics... LOL

I'm not a fan of Rosie but she's a liberal lesbian, why is it any surprise that she may agree with some of the things that Rev Wright said? When did it become a crime in this country to speak your mind? They have Rosie on TV for her opinions and then bash or for agreeing with some loud mouth minister. I listen to John Hagge sometimes on Sunday mornings and sometimes he come across as anti American. I'm not a big fan of him but I know he's not anti American, he's just against what some Americans are doing or have done, Rosie and Rev Wright and many other other people feel the same way.

On a more serious note: I DO appreciate Rosie explaining where Rev. Wright was coming from, even though Rosie does not have the credibility with the American people that one would want if one were in desperate need of a spokeswoman.

Someone with Oprah's credibility, but with a white skin, would be perfect. I say that because many people in white America like to immediately dismiss any critical remarks that come out of the mouth of a black person - no matter how famous or wealthy.

If the investor/businessman, Warren Buffett (who's been supportive of Obama in the past) were to echo Rosie's remarks, THAT would have a huge impact. But businessmen typically PROFIT from social injustice, so don't wait for Marse Buffett to issue any statements soon... ;o)

The only reason Rosie "agrees" is that she knows it will be controversial, and she's learned that is the only way she will ever get attention anymore since no one has any respect for her.

I'm white and an American. Can you elaborate on what I said that was far worse than Rev Wright? Your statement is very rude and unfair. Besides, "white America" is generally tore up and down by the media and the country whenever something is said that is even seen as mildly inappropriate. By assuming things about whites it's just as bad as whites assuming things about blacks. When you incite a double standard as you have just done you incite more racism and discrimination in the world.

The use of the term "wite America" was too broad, but self-proclaimed Christians Falwell and Robertson also blamed America for 9/11 - with little of the coverage that self-proclaimed Christian Wright has received (so much for the supposedly liberal media.) I say self-proclaimed because I don't think any of these men show the values of Christ.

Just because Wright was Obama's pastor, that doesn't mean he agrees with everything he says. How many birth control using, divorced Catholics still support their priests even though they don't agree? The black churches (admittedly few) I've been to tend to have a more fire and brimstone type sermonizing style.

It's a two way street because these televison shows ask for Rosie's opinions because their shows like Today or GMA will get publicity and viewers if Rosie says something controversial. Just like certain television programs who bash Rev Al and Jesse Jackson constantly will call them when they want the "black view" on something.

With friends like Rosie, the Pastor just will increase the number of those who criticize him.....they deserve each other..she and he think 9/11 was deserved,or done buy us.

Wonder which side of her brain she uses!

In any event they both have quite a mouth, some one should put hooks in them!!

I think Rosie is somewhat of an idiot because of things she says - but I don't see what her looks have to do with it. Unless you would agree with everything she said if you thought she was gorgeous?
