The brain power for the new technologies has been in this country for years. But when it comes to manufacturing, if a device cannot readily be made all by robotics, then going to another country for the assembly process is considered good business practices. Think about it, you have this remarkable device, it will require several steps to manufacture and there will be manual assembly required for the final product. If you employ workers at $10.00 an hour in this country or $10.00 a day in say China or India, where would you go? If you have labor contracts lined up with countries with low labor rates, it will also be much easier to line up investors. Less cost per device, more return on investments.

Just recently there was an article about some solar cell manufacturer moving manufacturing from Massachusetts to China. That's just one of countless examples of the trend.
It's just too expensive to run a business here with the excessive taxes and regulation.
The "cap and trade" scam will make it even worse. It's just a new tax on energy.
The Congressional Budget Office estimated it will cost each household about $1600 more per year for energy.
It will cause the loss of millions of manufacuturing and other jobs because the businesses won't be able to survive with the additional tax on energy.
It won't help the environment at all because more manufacturing will move to countries like China and India that are the worst polluters on Earth.

There are problems concerning money today, especially if someone thinks they aren't getting their fair share of it. Mars turns retrograde in your house of public matters, so issues from the pat will need to be dealt with in weeks to come. Sort things out quickly, before they become even more fraught.
