Lincoln High School Principal Peyton Chapman, shown at her school's 2015 graduation ceremony
Lincoln High could not join all other high schools in Portland Public Schools in giving the PSAT test Wednesday because the school accidentally distributed real tests to its English teachers to hand out for practice, Principal Peyton Chapman told The Oregonian/OregonLive. A new support staffer at the school made the error, and no Lincoln students are known to have cracked open what they were told were practice tests during the five minutes or less before the mistake was caught and the tests recalled, Chapman said.
