Did the researchers actually conduct any research? If yes, was the data also published? Did the alleged authors receive compensation from Wyeth in exchange for the loan of their credentials? If research was not conducted, the authors of record were paid and these facts were not disclosed, fraud was committed. What is the penalty for committing fraud, when people have lost their lives?
