Hydrocodone .20-.40 cents per pill SALE!!!! Oxycodone

I have asked this question and no one has answered me are oxycodone imediate release tabs more efective if you get the name brand I only get generic made by Malinkroft rather than roxicodone is there a difference? and which is better? and why because I only take the 5mg's but they really suck I was thinking the brand name ones would be better?

by law, generic Rx must contain the same active compound as brand (in this case oxycodone HCl) in the same strength as its analog, however i have anecdotal experience which contradicts this, but its only subjective.

i get 30 milligram oxycodone IR and i think the mallinkrodt is actually better for pain relief than brand xanodyne...(and much less expensive) my break through medication is 10 milligram norco (generic watson 10/325) i actually think the mallinkrodt generic hyrocodone is terrible compared to the watson generic. so it all depends on the medication IMHO. Vintage/qualitest is weaker than both in my opinion for oxycodone and hydrocodone. so again, depends on the particular drug if you ask me.
also, i think actavis oxycodone is excellent for pain control as well, i have had alprazolam made by them in the past and thought it to be quite ineffective. greenstone, and purepac being way better. hell i thought the new green dava's to be better than the generic actavis when it comes to alprazolam. so medications do vary even when coming from the same manufacturer. JMO

The Actavis roxi's are definitely better than the Mally's. Go to Walgreens and ask em what they have. I know Walgreens will order Actavis before Mally and thats where I got mine.

This could be wrong information but I thought I read somewhere a generic was aloud to have a %20 range in the medicartion. I dont remember what the 20% was for, but maybe Its true, maybe not who knows.

I've found some generics to be inferior to brand names as well, but it depends on the generic...

I actually had this conversation with the pharmacist in the wee hours of the morning the other day because i was curious myself about fillers and such.

The pharmacist i spoke with was in the pain management field before he finished school and we discussed this very point. He made some very good points about the costs and quality.

Overall the generic is generally dispensed more over the name brand because of costs. This leads to the point that the generic drug makers are making a good amount of income versus the name brand manufacturer and he told me that if you look into a named brand company and a generic brand companies labs you will see that the generic company spends much more on research and development for the medication to make it better and this in turn means a better product for the consumer in the end.

Also the cost involved with name brand is usually associated with paying off patents for years the name brand had to take out for their product and that is handed off to the consumer so that is why you pay so much more for brand.

This has been a long spoken debate by many for so long and i myself used to be skeptical. I always ask who the pharmacy uses for it's generics before i make my purchase only because i don't wish to purchase BB rated pharmacutical company medication when i can purchase AA rated company medication. This in it's own is because of again the side products used in the manufacturing of the pills.

Malinkrodt stinks i agree. I've always be partial to Watson because they are an AA rated company and i've always had success with thier meds.

Actavis is a company that was closed down for their over dosing medication and such and they are now back on the market and i recieved a bottle right off the get go from their 2nd coming out of product and i found it was terrible. I again recieved another bottle and this one is by far terrible. I've gotten much relief from it and i have no problems.

At the end of the day too though i tend to think much with peoples habits and such if you're taking oxy's and then oxycodone you're playing a balance to begin with and if you're abusing them i:e Crushing them and such then when you get your IR you have to take much more of it to get the feeling of either relief or high.

At the end of the day it's simple phsycology and the ability to prescribe yourself what you think you need to get through the day and many even like myself have their own dosing schedule and rarely follow what the bottle says anyway. Thats where tolerance and blame come in and we're a creature of perfection so when you're self medicating it's easy to blame the company who makes your pills when in essence it's you who's taking way too much of one and has a hard time with the effects of the other.

My long 2 cents.

The other point i forgot to mention is if these pills were bad and had no effect on someone then wouldn't we be in W/D after taking them? Makes on think.

Well, really I came away dumb-founded as to what you say is best.
IMHO, for Roxy 30mgs, I really like the Mallies. Even better than the name brand, which I think are too soft, and hard to break in half.
