AstraZeneca sues Lupin for infringing on drug patent

The drug is indicated in case of gastroesophageal reflux disease. The innovator has objected to all the five filings that Lupin has made in its Abbreviated New Drug Application to the US Food and Drug Administration to market the generic version of Nexium with strength 20 and 40 mg.
