Gazette Vet: Allergic Skin Disease
Allergic skin disease significantly affects the quality of life of more dogs than any other disease out there.
It's ragweed season, and for people with this pollen allergy, that means miserable symptoms such as sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose, trouble sleeping, asthma attacks, and itchy skin, eyes, nose, or throat.
Inhaled nasal steroid sprays are part of my allergy arsenal. Every time I visit the doctor I receive a sample for a different one which has given me the opportunity to compare three different sprays---Flonase, Nasacort and Omnaris.
