Folks, no one should take any fo the over-the-counter medications that contain acetaminophen, period. I mean, like DUH! I feel outraged that our physicians have been so silent on the deadly impact of the combination of acetaminophen and other medications as well as alcohol on the liver. If you have a headache or some other type of pain, please go for advil or aspirin. In fact, regular use of aspirin signficantly reduces the chance of heart attacks, stroke and certain types of cancers. So this is called a classic no-brainer. Avoid Tylenol completely!

So Joan, what happens to all us that are allegeric to Asprin? I do take naproxen sodium when I am drinking, but otherwise for 30yrs been taking tylenol. Just like every other drug, mixing with alcohol or other drugs is a BAD thing. Its not rocket Science.
