My 16 year old daughter has just stopped using this drug after only a couple of months. It clearly had a strong psychological effect on her bordering on the psychotic. Certainly it is a drug to be very closely monitored especially by the adults responsible for those adolescents using the drug!

I read the article. That's such a sad story.:(

I personally didn't notice any behavioral changes while I was on accutane. Then again, I took it as an adult in my mid 20's.

I wonder if adolescents are more susceptible to those kind of mental side effects.

Weak pathetic people preventing this drug from people that really need it, making it almost impossible to obtain (for me, and others). More easy to get cocaine then accutane.

Im 19 and have had no ill effects psychologically...It depends on the person and their age I guess.

honestly...if someone does anything wrong these days, its everything but their own fault...YEA its accutane who made someone go fuckking crazy, not the person themselves, how bout you stfu along with your typical group of people who are against being responsible for your own actions...seriously, find the nearest cliff and just jump.

ive been on roaccutane for 3 weeks now and can feel it putting a massive stress on my body i feel tense from the moment i wake up, i cant box this season because my joints ache for days after training plus my eyes sting, face itches and my hair is thin and dry and it is all stressing me out.. but i know it is only for a few months and in the long run i will be much happier so im just dealing with it but if i was younger and in different circumstances i could easily see how this drug could send me crazy.
