Spend several days in the neighborhood that you are considering moving into. Go there in morning, at noon, and at night and see what goes on. Make sure your potential home is at least 2 miles from any bus stops. Check with DART to see if a train station is going in, or proposed. Stay away from all public transportation. Stay away from "section 8" housing. Stay away from apartment complexes. Stay away from schools. Make sure you are not moving into a potential flood area. Stay at least 5 miles away from any land fills.

Have you ever lived near a school or a land fill. Have you watched the news when they report flooding in an area zoned as a flood plain that was allowed to be developed by greedy developers that are filling the pockets of self-serving city councils and zoning commissions? Wake up and smell the coffee dude.

It is not just North Dallas.The rest is far worse,esp S.Dallas & Oak Cliff as well as E.Dallas.The Law is a laughing Joke working for the bad guys instead of the good.I have been the victem of serious crimes many times,from armed robbery to attempted murder,and twice I found who the criminals were and cops never went to arrest the bad guys.On one occasion they actually changed a police report from death threats to lieing on the report changed to a misdemeanor.They jumped out of a car shooting with a shotgun..No detective has contacted me and cops tried to make a psych case because Im upset when strangers tried to shoot me on my front yard. Corruption of law is at an untold high level Young kids are joing gangs because of bad cops & no protection for the good guys.Mob boys!

and tell me if you guys see a pattern. One can look at this map and conclude that in Dallas that in the southern sector your chances of being murdered are even slim. Looks to me like as long as you don't use street drugs or have a crazy in your family your chances of survival are pretty good even in bad ol Dallas which pales in comparison to other cities.

This is what today's society is producing, it's only going to get worse. I buy my fuel at that intersection and I guarantee you, anyone messes with me and they have tangled with the wrong person. Long live CHL and the Colt 45!

At least we can still carry protection which I believe is very important in some of these areas.

There are far too many Carrollton city trucks being driven around to observe the workers, checking the environment or engineering. Put more
cops and cop cars on the streets of Carrollton not more bureaucrats driving around burning gas.

Also, quit planting more trees and shrubbery that need to be watered. Be more considerate of Carrollton's taxpayer money. Where is Carrollton's concern for water conservation?

It is open. They have a security guard outside now. I am not sure if he is there all day or not. He is there during the evening hours.
