I had a DUI in illinois then a 2nd DUI in wisconsin 21 months apart what would be the result, how is it handled and outcome.
Both times when arrested for the dui's I refused to take a BAC(blood alcohol content) test. I had a BAID monitor installed in my car for 1 year for my first DUI. The second refusal to take BAC test resulted in being forced to take a blood test. Now I'm not sure weather to hire 1 or 2 lawyers to avoid any jail time. Blood test will be back showing results in 2 weeks. My court date is Jan 2nd, 8:15 AM in walworth county court.
As to the second offense, Illinois cannot do anything criminally unless you are on probation or supervision or...
Do I have to pay off my court fees before I get my license reinstated from a DUI?
I still have about $2200 in court fees from a DUI in 2011 in DuPage county. In 2013 I was pulled over DWLS for the 2nd time in Kane County. My case in Kane is closed with no fines, whereas I am still making payments for my DuPage case which is also closed. Will I need to pay off my fine fully before taking steps to get my license reinstated?
More than likely you will have to pay all of your fines before attempting to get your license back. Speak with a DUI...

Do I need another attorney for my second formal dui hearing?
I have a revoked license. At my first hearing, I was given a driving permit, not full reinstatement. 9 months is up, and I have my second hearing scheduled. I have the updated evaluation done, with nothing new or problems. Do I need to have another attorney, this time?
You would be well advised to hire counsel for your second formal hearing.
Moved out of state, still have classes for a DUI to handle. How can I handle this in my new location?
I moved from DuPage County, Illinois to Houston, Texas. I have a DUI that I need to goto classes and goto a victim impact panel for. Is there a solution where I can handle this stuff down here in Texas without incurring the expense (which I do not have) of flying back to Illinois?
First question -Were you given permission to leave the state? I am sure that it was a condition of your bond that you...
If a dui case was reduce to wet reckless, will my Cdl license be disqualified or not?
I was on a boderline .08 but I wasn't swaying on thee can nor was my speak slur like the officer said. I was pulled over because it looked like I touch the white line but I didn't. I barely touched the white line. The reason why that happened was because my phone fall down and I went to pick it up. Yea I kno its my fault but this breath test was done at the station. I refused the test because I believe 2 drinks wouldn't put me over the limit. The only reason I took the test is because I was told that my Cdl was gonna be suspended for refusing the test. My Cdl is my life so I took it.
The reduced reckless is one serious violation, not a DQ but you may be missing the more important point. If you blew...
Can having to retake the breathalyzer test at station multiple times cause a false reading.
I was blew into the breathalyzer at the station 4 times before I got a reading. My question is after doing all those attempts cause it give a false reading?
Those attempts could cause a false reading. But much depends on why there were false readings. Sometimes a defendant...
