A Missouri man has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old teen at a Williamsburg hotel. Police say the 13-year-old girl told school counselors she had been sexually assaulted on several occasions between February and April. Comment?

Around 5:30 a.m., a tall, slender man went into the restaurant at 538 Second St., Williamsburg, which is actually in York County, shortly after it opened, according to a news release York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office posted on its Facebook page. He went up to employees and forced them to take him to a back office and open a safe there. Comment?

Petty Officer First Class Mark Freel, Jr., an active-duty Navy sailor based at J oint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, has been charged with the fatal shooting of his wife, Katherine, inside their home in Williamsburg, Virginia. Authorities say the couple's two young children, a son age 4 years and a daughter age 5 months, were inside the home at the time of the shooting. Comment?

Three minors are accused of setting an Aug. 24 fire that destroyed two boats and scorched three others at First Colony Marina, said James City County fire officials, in a news release. Fire officials didn't name the James City County minors charged with arson. Comment?
