Wilkinsburg Law

I was charged with A.R.S. 28-1381A1 (driving while impaired to the slightest degree) and A.R.S. 28-1381A2 (BAC above .08) while driving with a Texas license in Arizona. During my trial I moved to Pennsylvania for work and obtained a driver's license to become a resident of PA. I entered a guilty plea which dropped only the 28-1381A2 charge. Under Arizona law, I am now required to have an ignition interlock device (IID) installed for a period of 6 months. I'm having some difficulty trying to understand the reciprocity of the DUI charge and whether I am required to have an IID installed. From what I understand, neither TX or PA have laws similar to AZ's DUI to the slightest degree. Additionally, is it possible for AZ to suspend my license (in PA; Driver License Compact) if I do not comply?
Your valid Pa license may be in jeopardy when you try to renew it in the future. The reason is that the Arizona DOT may...
I was placed on one year, non reporting, probation on April 15th 2014 and that date is coming up. I was wondering if there is anything I should be expecting like a meeting with my probation officer (have only spoken to her once) or if I need to appear in court again. I was arrested for having a .04 BAC, being under 21 that is illegal. Will the court send me some sort of notice in the mail that I am off probation? I will have paid all of my fines by this month (2 months before the last payment is due) I have not been arrested or had any legal trouble in the past year.
Usually you get nothing from probation. You are just done that's it. You county may be different so you should ask your...
I am a pa resident who was recently in Florida on vacation. During that time I was arrested and charged with a dui. My bac was over .15. As a part of my plea agreement I have pleaded guilty to criminal dui over .15 and will have my drivers liscence suspended for 6 months among other consequences My attorney in Florida says Pennsylvania will suspend my liscence. However I have discussed this with a few police officers in Pennsylvania who believe penn dot will not suspend since this is my first dui. But it will be on my pa record. I'm confused and concerned Will my pa liscence be suspended? Should I retain a pa attorney to protect my interests here in pittsburgh? Input is appreciated
There is likely nothing that a local attorney can do. Either PA is going to see and respect Florida decision or they...

I live in Greenville, PA and was driving home. The road I live on was never plowed and the car slid back and hit another cause causing minor damage. The officer did not do a field sobriety test and the breathalyzer and instead immediately took me in. Nobody was hurt and I was wearing a seatbelt. I qualified for ARD in the past, but my biggest concern is that I will lose my cdl, but am unsure since ARD did not have a conviction on the previous dui.
Sounds like you need to hire the best DUI attorney you can afford and fight this dui case all the way. Generally, for...
I was convicted of my 4th DUI in 2010 (all in OR) and was sent to prison for 25 months. After parole, I completed all of my conditions (including treatment) and paid off all of my fines. My supervision finally expired back in 2013. Now I am planning on moving to Pittsburgh, PA in the near future. Will I be able to get a driver's license there when I move? I haven't been in any trouble since my last DUI in 2010. Thank you.
No you will not be able to get a drivers license if you have a lifetime suspension in one state. It will automatically...
I was taken to the hospital for a blood test. Had an arraignment and we are going to court for the case. We asked for a copy of the report at arraignment and was told they didn't have to provide it and it will be available in court.
Blood draw DUI cases require complex legal analysis and litigiation. Hire an experienced DUI defense attorney that...
