Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon reviewed his department's policies and procedures for the enforcement of federal immigration laws at the Board of Selectmen meeting Feb. 14. Prior to the meeting, the board had been able to review the policy which outlines how the Police Department interacts with undocumented immigrants and when they will take enforcement action. This policy came from the combined effort of the chief and the town's newly formed Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Comment?

Another man with close ties to TelexFree Inc. co-owner Carlos Wanzeler is now facing jail time, while Wanzeler remains a fugitive in Brazil. Cleber Rene Rizerio Rocha, 27, who recently led authorities to $17.5 million in cash stuffed into a bed box spring, appeared Monday for a hearing in federal court in Boston. Comment?

Ten men, charged with sexual conduct for a fee, were arraigned in Westborough District Court today as part of a prostitution sting conducted by the State Police and local police departments, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. Last night, the Massachusetts State Police High Risk Victim Unit, in collaboration with the Northborough, Shrewsbury, Westborough and Southborough police departments, executed a sting operation in an effort to combat human trafficking and sexual exploitation of women. "The focus of this operation was to attack the demand side of human trafficking, where we too often see women forced into prostitution," Mr. Early said. Comment?
