I had 3 DWI's in 5yrs. The last conviction date was 9/25/2012. The new DMV revocation policy went into place just 3 days later, 9/28/2012. I am on parole until 11/2017. I received a letter from the DMV that my license was revoked for life. I heard you can apply for a hardship license after 5yrs from the last conviction? Is that true and how would I go about that? I am willing to retain a lawyer for help with this.
I suggest reading the information at: https://dmv.ny.gov/tickets/penalties-multiple-offenders

I am a tourist arrested for DWI. Is this going to affect my future visits to the US?
I got pulled over right before going back to my country because of exceeding the speed limit (76 in a 40mph road) in NY. I was then arrested for DWI and my BAC is 0.10. An attorney from public defender's office said he'll be with me at the court. Now I am back home country but I will be back at the court 2 weeks later. I am wondering if I plea guilty can I get reduce the penalties. I want this to be considered as a violation so my records can still be clean? (I am not sure about that) so it wouldn't affect my next trips or visa. I want to show them that I came back and I am a responsible citizen. I also have no criminal record background, not even a parking ticket. I am thinking of getting my criminal record state which is empty, from my country (in English) to show that I am not a bad person. What are the worst and best consequences? what actions should I take? I want this case to be over in the court. Please help me get over this incident with a best consequence I can have. Thank you.
May take a little bit of a dance, but your attorney should be able to negotiate a non criminal violation here. That is...
Will I be charged with a dwi 2 months later based on hospital blood tests that were not ordered by the police?
I was moving my car in my driveway and I hit another car. I never left my property but the neighbor called the police who wrote an accident report. I wasn't charged with anything. An ambulance took me to hospital to X-ray ankle. Blood tests showed that I was above legal limit. I don't think the police asked for my hospital reports. My insurance company covered the other car, since mine had no damage. I've received 4 bills totaling $9000 for medical. Is it possible that the insurance company will alert the police of my blood tests when I submit the bills? The medical adjuster sent me forms to fill out and I'm sure she'll get medical results. Will she inform police and can police now charge me.?
Although theoretically possible, this is highly unlikely. The insurance company is not some kind of a "mandated...
I wondered if on Wed I had 4-16oz, beers from 10pm- 4 a.m. Thursday & do a urine test at 4:30 pm on Fr. will it show?
I take prescribed meds, and routine urine tests are part of coverage. I am female, 5 ft tall and weigh 200 lbs.
It depends on the test they use. There's one test which can detect alcohol approx. 80 hours later.
