Court documents say Damien Peterson put a gun to 16-year-old Frank Woodford's chest and pulled the trigger, then threatened a witness if he didn't say Woodford shot himself. The documents were filed Saturday with second-degree murder charges against 19-year-old Peterson in Palmer Superior Court. Comment?

A months-long case begun as an online sweep for child pornography linked to Alaskans has led to the arrest of a Wasilla man who allegedly used hidden cameras to record a girl showering in his bathroom. Court records show Tyler Arlan Weis, 40, charged with 13 counts of possession and distribution of child pornography, as well as two counts of viewing an indecent image or photography of a minor without the subject's consent. Relatives say Frank Woodford was a 16-year-old runaway when he died from a gunshot wound in late June. Woodford wasn't alone during the shooting, which occurred at a Wasilla home around 12 a.m. on June 27, according to an Alaska State Troopers report released by the boy's family this week. Comment?
