A Palmer grand jury has indicted a 22-year-old Wasilla man on charges of manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide for his role in a March 12 accident on the Glenn Highway that killed a French woman and injured four people . Trenton L. Shepersky was also charged with third-degree assault, according to the indictment, which was handed up Friday. Comment?

A 54-year-old man arrested a decade ago for sexually abusing a minor is facing a dozen new felony charges linked to accusations he sexually abused or assaulted a girl over a 6-year period. The most serious charge against Allen Theodore is rape, according to a July 2 Palmer grand jury indictment. Comment?

A 27-year-old Fairbanks man faces multiple charges after Alaska State Troopers say he robbed a Wasilla coffee stand, pulled a gun on another man, fled from authorities at a high rate of speed, and drunkenly exposed himself along the Parks Highway. In an online dispatch, troopers wrote that a woman called authorities after she arrived at work around 5:15 a.m. Thursday at the coffee stand, located along the Parks Highway where it intersects with Vine Road. A 28-year-old Wasilla man being sought in connection with a shooting that took place last Wednesday was arrested Monday night and faces charges of attempted murder, Alaska State Troopers said. Troopers said the shooting took place in a home on the outskirts of Wasilla on the evening of June 17. They were called to the home shortly after midnight where they found one man in critical condition. Comment?
