I need to construct a letter in order to defend an OUI charge.
I received an OUI charge 2 years ago and then moved out of State. First offense, and given this chance to defend.
I don't understand why you need to construct a letter. You need to hire an attorney and determine whether to fight the...
Officer get phone call compliant of erratic driving, moments later im stopped at gas station!
1st thing he says he pulled me over for a complaint, on ticket he says I almost crashed! then charged me with DUI cause I had few beers, and no insurance which was also false!
The reason he stopped you may be an issue in your case and you should have an experienced OVI/DUI attorney to...
Is there anything that can be done after pleading guilty for a ovi charge in ohio? Could the case be reopened?
4 years ago I got a dui. I told the judge that i was there to take my medicine and pled guilty. The judge asked me what my bac% was before I pled guilty but I didn't think about it till now. I don't think it was on the paperwork anywhere. Since then I haven't touched alcohol. I paid all the fines and went through a dui program. Now I have the oppertunity to get a really good job but you can't have any dui's. I live in Ohio and in ohio it stays on a background check forever. Some states let you expunge it but not Ohio. I lost my job when I got the dui and since then have a job where there is no chance for advancement. My family needs me to make more. I believe I deserved to be punished but not forever. Can anyone help?
The reality is there is no way to take an ovi off your record except for possibly going back and reopening the case and...

Physical Control possible outcome?
I was recently sighted by a sheriff for a Physical Control of a Motor Vehicle while Under the Influence. I was picked up at 4:59 a.m. Sunday morning. Breathalyzer didn't register so I had to take a urine analysis test which I didn't take until 6 a.m. and i had my last drink at 1:30 a.m. Could somebody give me a possible outcome of what my sentencing might be? I'm a good person, I've never been picked up for anything, zero points on my license. I even have perfect attendance at work, I just made a poor decision that night. I pleaded not guilty in court because the urine analysis test has not come in yet. My biggest fear is just getting more than three days in jail and losing my license because of work. Thank You
You should contact a defense attorney right away, one who has experience in the OVI/DUI field. The laws surrounding OVI...
I was cited with a DUI last night. Tomorrow is my initial court hearing. What should I do at this initial hearing?
I am 53 years of age and have a clean driving record, with the exception of a "failure to control" citation that I was given last year. This is my first, (and only) DUI. I hit the median in the center of the highway and probably totaled my wife's car. There were no other people or vehicles involved. I took a breathalyzer test and blew a .15. - also I did not have insurance on my wife's car.
You need to go in and plead NOT GUILTY and then consult an attorney ASAP! Find one in your area through AVVO. This is...
